Miss Hotlegs Nigeria stages bigger, better comeback

The organisers of the Miss Hotlegs Nigeria Pageant have announced their readiness to host the event again this year. After the success of the maiden edition in 2007, organisers say it is time to give Nigerian ladies the opportunity once more to compete in the prestigious Pageant.
According to Mosy O’Ginni, the President of Miss World Hotlegs Organisation, the event is back and better and there is a lot of incentives for the contestants. “The Miss Hotlegs Nigeria is an event designed to celebrate the beauty of women’s legs, and to showcase the accomplishments of today’s young women. Miss Hotlegs Nigeria 2014 will be packaged in line with international beauty contests standards.
Screening of contestants will be in three venues across the country. Interested contestants are expected to be screened in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. At the end only the best and brightest young women from all over Nigeria compete for the coveted crown.

12 Shortlisted candidates will also be taking part in the ‘’Making of Miss Hotlegs Nigeria’’. ’’Making of Miss Hotlegs Nigeria’’ is a competition-based reality TV show where the weakest legs are eliminated, and the top twelve participants will continue on to the finals. But the pageant itself still goes on and a winner will be crowned at the end of the show. Contestants will be judged in three categories, Poise and personality through interviews, The Swimsuit Competition and the Evening Gown Competition.
Asides from the prizes, the eventual winner will be representing Nigeria at the Miss Hotlegs Africa next year. Runners-up will also be winning other prizes. O’Ginni said, “The Miss Hotlegs Nigeria Pageant offers young women the opportunity to garner one of the richest experiences of their lives, while at the same time, lifelong friendships are made and many doors are opened to all contestants, as well as the winner.”
