Ice Prince back from US tour

Probably Africa’s biggest music export at the moment, Ice Prince Zamani has made huge strides over the past year. The latest feather in the cap of the Chocolate City rapper is the BET Award he picked up for Best African Act a few weeks ago. After beating out competition from the likes of Ghanaian group R2Bees & Toya Delazy from South Africa, Ice Prince headed out on a mini-tour of the United States.

While overseas, Ice used the opportunity to work with a few foreign acts including rapper French Montana and Wale. Their collaborations are expected to feature on Ice Prince’s sophomore album ‘Fire of Zamani’. The Headies 2012 Best Rap Album winner returned back to the country in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday July 24. The Grip Boiz family, Yung L, Endia & Chop Stix were on hand to welcome him back; as also was Hip TV. Watch the clip below to hear an excited Ice Prince talk about how good it feels to be back home, his experience overseas and what next is in store for him.
