Cecil Hammond gets 'Locked down'


The biggest and most attended monthly celebrity event  "LOCK DOWN NITE WIT NAIJA CELEBS" on the mainland is back with a bang. Precisely on Saturday 30th of March 2012 at Rumours Night club GRA Ikeja, Lagos the biggest show promoter and entertainment guru in the Nigerian entertainment industry CECIL HAMMOND would be hosted. Cecil is the boss of Flytyme entertainment and has successfully risen to the top of his game. Since the birth of “Lockdown Nite with Naija celebrities” in August 2012, the monthly celeb party has played host to several top hip hop acts and entertainers in the industry. It has since been the one stop night out that celebrities and fun seekers on the mainland axis of Lagos look up to, and sincerely it has been a roller coaster of success and unparalleled fun. The first three editions held at The Place Night Club located on Isaac John Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, and subsequently relocated to Club Rumours located on Oduduwa Way, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. The organisers of the monthly celebrity gig ‘Been There Entertainment’, have over the last 8 months hosted Mavin record’s first lady Tiwa Savage alongside label mates Dr Sid, Wande Coal and D’Prince.


Also to have honoured the event are Olamide,Flowssick, Yaw, Gbenga Adeyinka, Elenu, Sound Sultan, Dj Zeez, Brymo, Halle, Ink, Temisan, Reminisce, Tony tetuila, Artquake, fragrance, jaywon, koffi, Dammy Krane, Tunde Ednut, Orezi, Eldee D Don, Samklef, Orezi, Olu Maintain, LKT, Jesse King, Goldie, Terry D Rapman, General Pype, Kzeek , Sheyma, Saeon, Honey Bee, Cocoice, Zee, Terry Tha Rapman, Samklef, General Pype, and several others, with Omobaba No 1(Fine Boy) as host. Kicking off the new year with a bang, the organisers of LockDown nite, Been There entertainment, took the new year edition a notch further with super stars like Tuface Idibia, V.I.P from Ghana, rapper Vector and Kora Award winning songstess Chidinma who all took turns to dish out their hit tunes to the capacity crowd who came out have fun with the super stars. This month’s edition promises to be another splendid night of fun, as there would be top hip hop acts in the building to celebrate and party with the boss as he’s fondly called “CECIL HAMMOND”.
