Ogun set for Beauty pageant

The managements of Face Of Concepts Events and Oju Makeovers have concluded plans to stage the first edition of what would soon become an annual event, Face Of Ogun Beauty Pageant.
The event, which according to the organizers, is the first of its kind, would be empowering youths-most especially indigenes of Ogun State nationwide-and giving a whole new meaning to beauty pageant.
The organizers further divulged that the Face of Ogun Beauty Pageant is particularly designed to empower the youths of Ogun State, support community development as well as promote minority cultural heritage, culture awareness and community significance in the 20 Local Government Areas of the state.
In the words of Mrs. Oyindamola Hainsley, one of the creative brains behind the pageant, “Face Of Ogun Beauty Pageant has being planned to be a global form of gathering to youths in different parts of Ogun State. We plan to launch the program in 5 other States in Nigeria, where they have the most youths. Youths will be exposed to various events such as; youth empowerment and intra-State Vocational training, African Artiste Performances (chorography), Fashion Showbiz, Cooking Competitions to mention a few. Meanwhile, top corporate organizations, celebrities, icons and investors will play a major role in supporting the youths mainly in Nigeria.”
Speaking further, Mrs. Hainsley said, “One of our reasons for choosing Ogun State is simply because of the immense and rich cultural history of the state. Ogun State is one of the most prominent States in Nigeria that is blessed with natural resources and people of humor and prestige with 20 Local Government Areas.”

Meanwhile, organizers noted that aside the obvious benefits that include skills acquisition in different vocational studies like Makeup Artistry, Beads making and Skincare, general certification from Face2Face Beauty College South Africa, a brand new car, cash prize as well as an all expense paid trip to Dubai awaits the eventual winner of the first edition.
