Don Jazzy floats own Label. Signs Tiwa Savage

(Yemoja news)Former Mo’hits President, Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has formally announced his new label, Mavin Records.

Taking to Twitter, he announced and unveiled the new artistes on the label which includes D’Prince, Dr Sid, Wande Coal and a surprise signing – Tiwa Savage.

Expectedly, D’banj and his younger brother, KaySwitch who were part of the defunct Mohits group were not among the new Mavins.

However, a compilation album titled ‘Solar Plexus’ featuring Wande Coal, D’Prince, Tiwa Savage & Dr Sid. Produced exclusively by Don Jazzy would be released on Tuesday, May 8, 2012

According to Don Jazzy, ‘theSolar Plexus album drops Tomorrow 8th of May. You would be able to download the album for FREE as long as you ve joined the MavinLeague. the album was done in 3 weeks. we thank God. no time to sleep’.

 In 30 minutes, the followers on twitter for the Mavin Records account grew to over a thousand.

 Also, The new Mavin Records President informed that more artistes will be signed to the label in the nearest future and he is still signed as a producer to Kanye West’s GOOD Music.
