In a first of its kind event, Fanta, the fun, fruity drink of the Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, in collaboration with Ozone Cinemas, will host a special red-carpet, costume premier for the much anticipated summer blockbuster movie: The Avengers.
Scheduled for Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Ozone Cinema, Yaba, Lagos, the event will be open to young fun seekers and movie goers who win tickets from selected Sweet Sensation and Chicken Republic outlets. Ticket winners are encouraged to join in the fun by using their creativity and imaginations to dress up as their favorite super hero. They will be treated to a red carpet reception and enjoy photo opportunity with their favorite stars and stand a chance to win prizes for the best costume of the night.
To win the tickets all the fans have to do is purchase two Fanta 50cl PET bottles alongside a meal worth N1, 000 from the selected eateries and they will be a proud recipient of an Avengers movie premier ticket.
Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, Strategic Marketing Manager (Flavours), explained that consumers of Fanta share the high energy and fun traits of the superheroes as portrayed in the movie.
“Fanta is colourful, fun and puts you in the mood to do great things, just like super heroes. We are excited to be the pioneering this kind of imaginative premier in Nigeria and promise fans of Fanta a playful and fun experience,” she said.
To add to the excitement, ticket winners get the unique opportunity to view the movie ahead of European and American audiences as the Fanta Ozone premier is taking place a full day before the international release.
The Avengers is an Hollywood movie in which Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) and the international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles a team of super humans to help save the earth from the evil Loki and his army. Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) are some of the comic super heroes featured in the action-packed film.
