Woman in jail for stealing Brazilian hair


A 40-year-old woman was yesterday charged before a Yaba Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing hair attachments valued at N700,000 from her employer. The accused, OluwakemiAgbomoniyi is standing trial for stealing.
Police prosecutor, Insp. Rita Momoh told the court that the accused, who resides at Jones St., Obalende is a sales manager at a salon located at the Falomo Shopping Complex, Lagos, owned by one Mrs Sophia Mitchell.
She said that on April 7, Mitchell, the complainant bought a large quantity of attachments and instructed the accused to take stock.
Momoh alleged that Agbomoniyi had secretly packed some bags of the attachments and moved them away from the complex without the knowledge of the complainant.


She told the court that the complainant, who noticed that the number entered by the accused was short of what was bought, called her to explain the shortage, but her phones were switched off.
